LARK came about after Kari Browne, a journalist and Lori Kranczer, a lawyer shared the common experience of motherhood and realized there wasn’t anywhere in their neighborhood to go to with kids to indulge, relax and connect. We really wanted a cafe like this close to home, so we decided to open one ourselves.

Whether young or old, working or playing, have kids or have dogs, we wondered what would happen if we gave everyone what they wanted in one great place.

Small things make all the difference in our lives and a daily destination where we can all go to experience something simple and good is pretty special.
